A global initiative to identify neurodivergent conditions (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia) early through accessible, sensory-friendly screenings. Integrated with UDID for disability verification, ABHA for digital health records, and Niramaya for funding follow-up therapies.

Details:

What: Developmental, behavioral, and sensory screenings for children and adults, using standardized tools (e.g., M-CHAT for autism, per AAP guidelines).

How: Virtual and in-person screenings at community centers, schools, and clinics, conducted by neurodivergent-trained professionals.

Integration: Results stored in ABHA for longitudinal tracking; UDID ensures eligibility for Niramaya-funded therapies (up to ₹1 lakh).

Schedule: Monthly screening camps (July–November 2025), targeting 2,000+ individual

Mentorship Circles

Creative Spectrum Workshops

Art, music, and writing workshops celebrating neurodivergent creativity, led by neurodivergent artists.

Advocacy Academy

Training to advocate for neurodiversity in schools, workplaces, and policy spaces.

Quarterly bootcamps, UDID-linked for PwDs, resources on ABHA.

Peer Support Networks

Safe spaces for neurodivergent individuals to connect, share experiences, and build community.

Volunteering

A neurodivergent-led volunteer program to lead, support, and grow Sunlit Spectrum’s initiatives, empowering members to drive change and sustain our community.

Details:

What: Opportunities to lead workshops, moderate support networks, organize events, or advocate for policy change.How: Flexible roles (virtual/in-person) tailored to neurodivergent strengths (e.g., hyperfocus, creativity). Training provided for leadership and advocacy.

Integration: Volunteers use ABHA to track health-related contributions (e.g., mental health support) and UDID for PwD-specific roles.

Schedule: Ongoing recruitment, with quarterly training bootcamps (August–December 2025).
